The Washington County Sheep Association was re-organized in March 8, 2004 and was formally known as the             Washington County

            Sheep Producer's Association, organized on May 22, 1989.

The Purpose Of The Organization

           to promote interest in the total sheep industry

        to plan and conduct informative and educational programs and activities that                 benefit the sheep industry

           to promote cooperative efforts to improve marketing and promotion of sheep and                 wool

           to develop leadership and unity of purpose among sheep producers

Promoting The Sheep Industry By

           Holding Annual Sheep Management Tours

          Hosting Educational Sheep and Lamb Meetings

          Sponsoring & Conducting Open Sheep Shows

          Sponsoring 4-H Sheep Awards

          Having Lamb BBQ's at Open and 4-H Sheep Shows

          Donating Sheep Shears to be used by 4-H Members
